My business has been built on a passion and a desire to assist my clients to make their dream house become their dream home
Each of us is unique, with individual likes and dislikes, but few of us can express those choices in the way we style our homes. Everyone has a view on colour, art, lighting, fabrics, accessories and so on, but more often than not cannot put those desires and preferences into practice when it comes to their homes.
The services I offer to my clients in creating their ideal spaces begins with a free consultation to discuss the ideas they have and how we can bring these ideas together going forward. I take what may seem a daunting task ahead, work closely with you, listen to your likes and dislikes and turn a dream into a reality. I work collaboratively with a team in order to deliver or even exceed my clients’ brief and expectations without excess expenditure.

As our children have now flown the nest, we wanted to open up and reconfigure the downstairs rooms in our family home into more of an adult living and entertainment space. Jane helped us redesign the layout, including converting a games room and small TV room to a much more spacious TV room/den and bar area, from which we in turn opened up a wall to make a new doorway into a refurbished lounge and dining room. Jane found us brilliant workmen and was a great help in determining the overall design. Some of her ideas and little details, such as introducing hidden pocket doors behind bespoke new shelving units, were fundamental in the overall final look and feel of the project. We’re really delighted with the overall results.

We purchased an old run down Victorian coach house in the middle of Chapel Allerton. After spending many months planning the refurbishment we found ourselves with a blank canvass but devoid of ideas of how to furnish it. Having known Jane for many years we already knew we could trust her with our ‘baby’ and asked her to come up with interior designs. The whole process was a pleasure, Jane was both enthusiastic and full of some great ideas. To say we are absolutely delighted with the end result is an understatement. Jane even accompanied us to various furnishing retailers and introduced such amazing professional people who were excellent in understanding our needs and tastes. We highly recommend Jane, not only will you be delighted but you’ll have a room or in our case a whole home to cherish.

I was recommended to Jane Thompson by a friend In Leeds as I needed someone to completely redecorate a flat for my brother as I live in London I could not oversee it myself. We fully discussed budget and style and the flat which is small needed a very creative use of space to provide as much storage as possible. It needed to be stylish and bright, elegant and comfortable. Jane was fantastic. Always discussing in advance her ideas and the workmanship of carpentry was excellent and at a good price.I wish such people were available in London. Jane did everything on time and in budget and the result is better than I could have hoped. Nothing was too much trouble and Jane went above and beyond to make my brothers move seamless. I highly recommend her – a pleasure to work with.

All I can say is let Jane push you out of your comfort zone and you will be so impressed with the result. If you are looking for an Interior Designer who will push your boundaries but will respectfully work with your ideas then I would recommend Jane.

I have worked with Jane on quite a few projects to date. Firstly we worked together on a couple of luxury apartments in Harrogate where Jane styled each apartment. Her ideas were perfect and her choices of wallpaper, paint, flooring & colour schemes work beautifully. We then worked together on a wonderfully developed Georgian property which comprised of individual apartments all of which require dressing specifically for the short stay lets /hotel market Again, Janes ideas and style worked amazingly as there were ten apartments all of which required individuality. She created spaces that worked well. She has a quirkiness to her thought process and therefore can make an ordinary room so interesting. She works well with instruction and relates her ideas thoroughly before commitment. I would certainly recommend Jane as a stylist and it really was a pleasure working with her

Jane Thompson did an absolutely fantastic job for me! She carried out two projects – my bedroom and my living room. Jane redesigned my bedroom, switching the direction of the bed and putting in curved fitted furniture – both of which opened up so much space and something I would never have thought of myself! Along with new fresh paint and lighting space has been completely transformed and I love spending more time in there now. For the living room, Jane recommended a magnificent new table and chairs and sofas which, along with redecoration and subtle touches have made the room so much more smart and modern whilst retaining its warmth and cosiness. Her eye for detail is amazing! I cannot recommend her highly enough to plan, design, redecorate, create space and add perfect touches to your home!

Jane helped me earlier this year to refurbish and update my lounge/dining room. It was my first experience of an interior design service, and I was completely satisfied. Jane listened to my wishes and gave me new ideas to think about. She kept all our appointments and took the stress of having to find fabrics and tradespeople who actually provided curtains, fabrics, carpets, decorating, and reupholstering. I was totally satisfied with the workmanship and would welcome any back again to do further work. They too all kept to their appointments and I love the new look of my room.
